Per Weiss
Innovation’s design-team is lead by Per Weiss. Born in 1959 in Denmark, he started his career as a professional musician, while already studying at the School of Architecture in Aarhus. After working for some of the famous Danish architects, before joining the company in 1989 as industrial designer. Ever since then Per is the driving force behind the constant development of collections. Inspired by fashion and lifestyle trends, he creates long-lasting designs with a contemporary appeal.

Oliver & Lukas WeissKrogh
Oliver and Lukas founded their design-studio in 2012. Sons of Per Weiss and of Anne Mette Krogh (Global Interior Director of LEGO), their upbringing has provided them with a broad knowledge both of architecture as well as the design- and furniture industry.

Just like their parents, Oliver and Lukas are focused on designing valuable, carefully thought out and environmentally friendly products that will make a difference for the consumer.
Today, Studio WeissKrogh is a major contributor to INNOVATION’s development.
Fleming Højfeldt
Innovation Living was founded by Fleming Hojfeldt in 1971. Today, as owner and industrial designer, he is still the Chairman of the company. Inspired by personal experience with the first production communities of the flower power generation, he started the company with the production of bean bags, the most popular seating furniture of those days. By the end of the Eighties, Fleming had created his own designs and took the company to new horizons.

For a quarter of a century, Europe’s leading designers and furniture showrooms have been featuring the INNOVATION line of sofa beds. As demand for this type of product has been constantly growing over the past years, so has INNOVATION’s presence and popularity in the marketplace. With the relevance of digital marketing increasing, the focus remains on traditional presentation platforms. Creating an exclusive retail environment to the collection and naming it the INNOVATION CONCEPT STORE was the logical next step. In 2015, Signe Mathes opened the first Concept Store in her native Germany, the largest Innovation presentation in the country. ‘INNOVATION PRIME RETAILER’ DeinSchlafsofa GmbH is an independent operator.
